The only reason I would buy platinum plugs on N/T engines is because they last longer than copper plugs.Defiant said:Seconded. A waste on N/T engines, and dangerous for turbo engines.
robvas said:Yea, it only takes a few minutes to switch them out. Plus they're cheap. Get 2 sets.
When do people go to 8's?
I run 8s on my Suzuki GS1000S, an air-cooled motorcycle. So, pretty high up there.robvas said:Yea, it only takes a few minutes to switch them out. Plus they're cheap. Get 2 sets.

. Needless to say, the car idles smoother and definitely has a little more pep in her step, especially after I fixed a boost leak at the throttle body. A little gasket sealer and all is well. But, if you haven't changed those plugs, do it
(upgrade time) Thats off topic so definitely go with NGKs! Ive heard good things about their iridium plugs too. DSMstatus said:best plugs to use are oem bpr6ekn, they are the duel tipped on the sides of the electrode. you can try the es's but they will wear out about every oil change, the ekn's are bout 8-10 dollars each depending on where you get them, but its worth it. NGK all the way.
