sorry another flywheel question??...

i know theirs a lot of these about resurfacing your flywheel but none of the old threads told me if i could reuse the same flywheel if im using the same clutch. I took my clutch and pressure plate off the flywheel because i recently leaked gear oil all inside my bell housing and i opened it up to check and see if any oil got on the clutch but their wasnt any on it. My question is can i reuse this flywheel if i use the same used clutch without resurfacing it?

Bring it to a machine shop and have them check it for cracks and warpage. If it comes back fine and has no major burn spots, it should be ok. How many miles are on your clutch? Might be a good idea to spend 200 or so on a new clutch while you are down there so you dont' have to take the tranny off in the near future when it starts slipping.

clutch is 3-4 months old, still in good condition, i dont have a lot of money right now but as soon as i get money im getting an lsd so i guess when i decide to do that ill re-check everything and replace anything that needs it.

I would recommend having your flywheel resurfaced at a machine shop. Its only like $35-40.
