Another 16g question... sorry

Ok i put in the search to find the difference between the evo 3 16g and a big 16g and couldnt find any post to clearly answer my question. They both flow at 550 cfm and pretty sure have the same turbine wheel. So what exactly is the difference and which is better in the longrun.

The b16G is rated at 550 cfm and the e316G is rated more around 570 cfm. I believe ShapeGSX has logged an incredible 43 lb/min with his e316G. He is also one of the few guys that have ran 11's on an e316g though.

The link that 16vtawd will explain all of the physical difference between the two turbos. There really shouldn't be a question as to which one to get, both cost the same, but the e316G is proven to be a slightly better turbo. Whichever one you get, you will be surprised with the punch is packs

Search for the "Evo III 16g or Evo GT" topic. ShapeGSX and I talked (argued actually) about the huge efficiency differences. The Evo III is a FAR better turbo than the B16G. I was able to make 3 consecutive dyno runs with before heat soaking the stock sidemount (18psi). My small 16G (which is way way more effiencent than a big 16G) completely heat soaked it after every run.
