Another turbo selection thread-sorry

The setup I will be running will include what is in my modlist and also 272 comparable cams as well as 880cc or larger injectors, DSMlink, and a different manifold etc.

Im lookin for somewhere around 500 hp on race gas and a decent streetable number on pump maybe 400 or so since I drive the car alot when it runs

I was looking at a GT35R which is good for the numbers and since it is larger the little bit of lag would also help since I am, unfortunately, FWD.

The Garrett GT series turbos are also pretty interesting, I was looking at he GT14, which Im pretty sure is what was on the 500 hp galant on 1320video.com who is a good friend of mine, as well. It seems to have a lot of the same characteristics of the 35R with a cheaper price tag.

Also while i was lookin at these they had a few different types of compressor covers to chose from like the port shroud and the T04S, which is best for what I am looking for??

Any other application suggestions and comment are welcome, OTHER than get AWD . thakns alot

When companies take Garrett wheels and put them in Mitsu housings so they can bolt on, they generally do not flow as good as the full Garrett units. You might want to look into Forced Performance turbos like the 3065. These are bolt on units with completely custom-made stainless turbine housings. Either an FP turbo or full Garrett will flow the best. And if you're going with a full Garrett, I suggest the GT3076R.
