I just bought a 91 eclipse GSX that is 1/2 way complete on a motor rebuild. Im just about finished getting the rest of the needed parts to complete assembly when I stumbled upon the fact i got 2 intakes with the parts. 1 Is the stock 1g
4g63t manifold. The other is from what im told a Hyndai Sonata intake? the ports appear to match but the runner shape is different. is there any benefit at all to using it or should i just put on the factory intake? thanks!

My friend is running a hyundai intake (4g63) on the 1.8 l dl that we swapped a 4g in , he also is running the head. I do not know off hand on the ports but the plenum is noticably bigger from the outside (just by looking at the two intakes side by side) whether or not it offers anything I doubt it, I would stick with the stock 1g.

Thanks for insight guys. I figured it would just be best to stick with the stock 1G. seems like to big of a headache
