Hey guys, I was surfing and I found this a sonata 4g63? power difference/compatibility with dsm's? just curious

same engine... detuned for less power.

detuned meaning smaller injectors, smaller tbetc.? if so could someone up grade their sonata engine to a DSM 4g53? poss. 4g63t? I also saw some elantra engines are the same, is that true? never new Hyundai used 4g63 engines.

technically it's a 4g63. detuned meaning totally different fuel map, smaller injectors etc. i don't know the full details, but i'm sure it's the same intake manifold, and different internals, but still a "4g63"
