2.4 sonata block in dsm?

I see in the classified there is a 1g gsx 4 sale. It has 2.4 built sonata block. Is this a possible swap? If so how easy is it? Direct bolt on?

Yes it is a possible swap. Just a couple of people who have put the 2.4 in and have done a wite up for the rest of us to learn from.

The block from the Sonata will actually be a 6 bolt 2.4l block. The engine code is G4CS so if you do a search for this, you'll find more info on it.
