4g63 in 96 sonata

I pulled a motor out of a 96 sonata and it looks like a 4g63 with out a cam angle sensor. does any one know if i can put a cam angle sensor on this motor and use it in my talon, oh its a 6 bolt

from what i've been able to gather having worked on a couple over the years. it's a 6-bolt 4g63 running a 1g maf and what seems to be a complete 2g top end assembly (head setup, intake manifold, etc..) check and see if it has a crank angle sensor ### thats the one thing i'm not sure about.

Yes the hyundais had 4g63's. I have a valve cover on my car from a sonata. Look at my pics if you want to see it. Also 2gs dont have cam angle sensors, and its a 96 so that makes sense.

Didnt know they where 6 bolts, but they do have 1g mafs if I remember right. You can use the head off the hyundai just by putting the turbo cams in.

How bout the opposite? Putting a full turbo 4g63 setup into a 96ish sonata? I know its been done. Anyone have a link to a really well done conversion. I live in Korea at the moment and reallly miss driving my dsm. Fun but not rediculous expensive project maybe!?

I've seen 4g63's in many older Hyundai's. And of course since I work at a Hyundai dealership I get a discount on parts for my 4g63
