Something loose in the front suspension/Motor

K so this is a long story here we go, My car had bad struts and lowering coilovers on it, I swapped those for stock struts and springs. After I did that it feels way better but one issue, Now there is a sound in the front that sounds like something is loose. its not a clank but sounds like it could be if there wasnt rubber or something in the way. I have changed both cv shafts and front roll stop and did not resolve the issue. It kind of sounds like it could be the rear motor mount, When i shake the engine back and forth it makes a similar noise but not the same noise. I am seriously out of ideas, All bushings seem ok the tires does not wiggle at all when its jacked up and all tie rods and cv shafts are good. Any help would be very appreciated.

balljoint maybe or a rear roll stop depending on when the sound is occuring

The sound occurs anytime the car goes over even the littlest bump, On the freeway it seems to be ok.

I had a bad wheel bearing once that cause a 'rattle' noise every single time I hit a bump. It was my brake pads bouncing around as the wheel hub moved >.>

So make sure those are ok.

Sway bar links/bushings...?

All the bushings seem tight, they have a little play but i assume they are suppose to as they are bushings .

If you can move the sway bar links by hand they are worn out and will clunk.

I replaced both sway bar links so they are good, The lower control arm I can wiggle by hand and you can see the bushing move. The one in the picture is the one that wiggles at the bushing. they both seem to do the same as well.

As a side not everything was just fine until I took the car apart and replaced the struts. It ran perfect no issues, the struts are tight and not worn out nothing wiggles enough to make The noise that I am hearing.

I still say check those wheel bearings.

I had an old 91 protege that was lowered and when I raised it back up wheel bearing issues became apparent, and I thought it was suspension.

And my eclipse makes no other noise other than rattling noises when I hit bumps, and its because the wheel bearing has play that it obviously shouldn't have, and its only a year or so old.

Also, inspect your ball joints for any damage. They will make interesting noises as well, and could have been worn and when you changed the angle of the suspension caused them to become 'loose'.

Other than that, go back and double check everything you've done to make sure its all secure and you got all the rubber bushings and such in place.

Edit : Also, check your brake pads, make sure they are secured properly.

The wheel hub bearing will definitely make a little clink clink sound if it is loose or going bad! It would also make your wheel feel loose too going over uneven pavement.

sway bar links or bushings, two different noises tho

I bad wheel bearing will usually make a roaring noise and get louder as speed increases. I would lean towards sway bar bushings or lower control arm bushings
