hi, so i was changing my valve cover gasket and while i was remotving the timing belt cover a piece of plastic fell in, the on that sits in between the timing belt cover and te edge of the valve cover. i can reach and and barley see it, can it damage the belt or some thing? also any one know how tight im supose to bolt the cover on??

If you can reach it....why not get it out?
and the cover, hand tight then a little more DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, rather be under tight and be able to go back and tighten a little more than over tighten and break/strip/crack anything.
Hope this helps.

You need to remove the timing belt covers and get whatever plastic piece it is you dropped in there, if it gets wedged under the belt on a pulley its going to skip time or snap... Do you want a small piece of plastic to cause you $800 worth of damage to the engine?

I'm not sure exactly what cover your talking about, I'll take a guess...
Valve cover bolts - 2.5 ft. lbs.
Upper timing belt cover bolts - 2.2 ft. lbs.

its small like a paper clip, any ideas on how dificult this is? what am i gonna need to take of to remove the whole cover?

the cover that covers the timing belt over the cams

If you can see it, just use some mechanical fingers or put duct tape on a coat hanger and reach in and pull it out.
