Solenoids remove...

One is a control for the Fuel Pressure Regulator on warm starts and helps for cutting off the vacuum which otherwise would cause less fuel.

The other is a control for the purge canister. If you have the canister removed, you can go ahead and drop this, because you'll likely be getting the CEL anyway.

i have the afpr thats why i want to get those solenoid out because i want to put the afpr at this place, and i still have the canister but i have a walbro 255.... so i dont really know what to do?, how to remove the solenoid? just unplug the hose, block them en remove the black solenoid??

:coy: do i remove all? the canister, the lines, the 2 solenoids and the connector beside them??

ok i've take a look at and seem to be that the charcold canister is already unpluged...i'll remove it completly and for the fuel pressure solenoid, where i put the 2 hose? one going to the stock pressure regulator (i'll put it on my afpr) but the other going to the intake manifold what i do with it?

The one on the intake should be run to your new AFPR to allow for the changes in fuel pressure that will take place under boost and vacuum. Follow the other one to it's source, take it off and cap the hole/tube where it is connected.

The one on the stock FPR is eliminated when you plumb the AFPR to the rail. The other is the boost reference for the AFPR, like Glenn said.

You can't unplug the solenoids without throwing a CEL unless you have DSMLink or a standalone. EDIT: Or if you have a 1G, apparently... OBDI=no CEL, OBDII=CEL. My bad fellas.

Maybe on the 2gs but I never threw a CEL for just unplugging it. Hell, I cut the wiring harness out just to make it more clean and neat....

i have dsmlink so i'm ok, and its only in a 2g you got a chek engine light i think... in resume... the big hose from the stock fpr i put it under my afpr, and the hose from the intake manifold go to the afpr for vacuum, and the little hose from the stock fpr i block it? is that right?? thanks!
