I make it clear I can't read wiring diagrams at all very well, so I am coming here.

I need to figure out where the solenoid wiring goes to. I know its just on the tab of the solenoid, but the problem is I don't have the wiring harness for the solenoid/starter.

Everything else is fine, just gotta figure out where in the engine bay the starter solenoid hooks up to.

91-94 Harness. A picture would be great. I feel like a noob for posting this, but I'm kinda building this car from the ground up, and have a lot of things rewired myself, but I just can't find where the solenoid wires to the ignition switch in the bay.

Thank you so much.

I don't know, I've got the Galant wiring manual PDF of 900 or so pages.

I need to know where it plugs into the harness, because I'm not sure what else you'd be able to tell me except that there is indeed a harness in the bay, and there is indeed a wire that needs to be plugged somewhere.

The little solenoid wire runs into the same spot/connector that the reverse light sensor wires run to. Maybe that helps?

Otherwise: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/412841-1990-engine-control-wiring-harness.html#post152709624

On the connector slightly farther down the line, there are four wires. The two black w/ yellow wires are involved in the starting circuit and run to the starter motor/solenoid. The red and red w/ blue wire are for the reverse lights sensor.

Thank you!

I looked in your thread actually, but I can't read.

Much appreciated!

Edit: I think I may have lost this wiring. HMM. I thought a 4 pin pig tail plugged in somewhere. I need to investigate my harness more.

Where did you find that part in your write up? I can't find it.

Dammit, I remember when that guy went on a deleting spree of all his stuff. HE SHOULD BE SLAPPED.

Oh well, thank you so much, I think I'll have enough to figure out what's going on with it now.

I appreciate it sir!

Lol. Eat shaft. HA.

It's been a while since I've looked but your looking for a 4pin connector. Square shaped. Should have 3 wires in it I believe. 1 black/yellow and 2 reds. The reds are for your reverse lights, and the black/yellow is your starter wire. At least in a dsm, but I'd doubt its too much different on a GVR4. I can look on mine next weekend when I'm home.

The one that was showing at the drive-in the night your parents made you.

Pretty sure you're giving me too much credit on how old I am.
