while i was driving home from santa clarita to la. i smelled something burning! before you know it my cabin was full of smoke. i pull over because my eyes were becoming watery! i open the hood and there was nothing coming out of it. so i open the passenger side door and look at where the smoke is coming from. then i see fire underneath the passenger seat!!!!!! i panicked and just took off my shit and started patting it down. but it didnt work! thank god my girlfriend left her water bottle and i just downed it. i then pull out a cigarette butt. i was driving with the windows down because the weather was perfect. i was just crusing. then this happened. i almost lost my tsi tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

yess. i dont know how i didnt see that cig butt come into my window. but it happened to land underneath my passenger seat. and the foam caught on fire!!! im going to get a fire extinguisher tomorrow. now i know why people have those!!! im pretty sure most people just have it for the looks.

That's scary. Nothing sets me off like seeing the guy or gal in front of me flick a cigarette out their window, for reasons just like this. It's obnoxious, and believe it or not, I detest littering. My dad smoked for 47 years of his life, and at least he had the courtesy to hold onto the butt until no one was nearby.

I may get an extinguisher, paint it like a NOS bottle and mount it in the back. LOL
