I just changed the bolts and gasket on my turbo/manifold. And now the exhaust is white, and there is a ticking noise now present that completely goes away at 3k, then comes back at idle. Also, my manifold is smoking pretty badly, but i think that is the pb blaster burning off. How long will it take for the pb blaster to burn? And whats the deal with the smoking/loud ticking?

I put a video up later.

it's hard to tell, but it seems like underneath the timing belt cover/and or the drivers side of the valve cover.

I hope it's just lifter tick

Thats your valve ticking. They need to be torqued again. Thats from it not getting enough oil. Nothing bad to worry about. But on the long run it will hurt the engine.

Thank god...
I was gonna say i didn't think it was crankwalk, because the sound didn't respond to clutch or gear movement.
