Smokes and Knocks and won't idle

I have a 95 Eclipse GST when I boost the turbo It would smoke like a mosquito fogger and after driving it for a while it started knocking and smoke was coming from the engine, and It died, this is after I replaced the head, new timing belt and gaskets on all of it, I did compresison test and its right around 150 on all 4 cylinders, I it helps I can try to get a video and sound on here, It wont stay running at idle anymore it dies after a few seconds of running, Any info on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. Check the turbo. Pull the intake pipe off the compressor inlet and check shaft play. Pull the LICP off and check for copious amounts of oil. If the turbo is blown, it will smoke like that, and you could be pumping all of the oil out of the motor through the turbo, into the intake, through the motor, and out the exhaust.

Any time your car burns oil that badly, park it. You may have caused other damage by driving it in that condition. When my T25 let go, I pumped nearly 2 quarts of oil into my intercooler in a minute or less.

Let us know the result of the turbo check.

Yeah I took the turbo off and apart and the turbine wheel on the exhast side is no longer connected on the shaft that goes through to the intake wheel, I'm guessing thats where I could have been getting my knock from if it was just tumbling around in the housing. Found a 16G turbo but it has in and out shaft play, I dont think thats going to do me any good.

how much damage could it have done if I ran the car with the turbo in this condition. thanks
