I got my car to run finally!! But now i'm getting black smoke out the tail pipe!! I have an exhaust leak at the cat and around the turbo area!! and there is white smoke comming from around the turbo not sure where 100% b/c there is a heat sheild there!! but when i rev it it don't want to go above 3k and it sound like the BOV Is stuck open,, so help

Why black smoke

why white smoke

The black smoke is just unburnt fuel. The leak around the turbo is making the o2 sensor in the o2 housing read lean and its telling the ecu to add fuel. The white smoke is possibly a coolant leak around the turbo.

Take off your intake tube and check for any abnormal shaft play on the turbo. It might be hitting the housing and blew the seals. Would cause it to be underpowered possibly!

If its white smoke your turbo seals are probably shor ot blown headgasket and black smoke your probably just burning oil.
