Smoked licence plate cover

Yes I know. It is nuts. Heck they can just be driving and figure out if I have insurance,registerd, etc etc. I hate our new plates, they are just horrible.

Ive never had a plate cover, though Ive seen other vehicles with them.

After reading through this thread, maybe PA isnt as bad as I thought when it comes to these things?

I have however have had bad experiances in NY. Ball joint broke on the highway in NY once. I was off the road. Local cop stopped. They were very polite and told me when my friend with the truck and trailer came to call and theyd help with traffic if we needed a lane closed for more room. The some young staties came and said the car needed towed asap. So they called a flat bed. My truck and trailer came before the flatbed and they wouldnt let me touch my car. $300 tow bill. I was pretty heated, told the one officer to stfu, he cuffed me. He let me go though.

you say that as a joke, but me and my buddy get pulled over in his 2g a few years ago, and he gets in an argument with the officer and tells the cop "your lucky you got me pulling off m street, you wolnt catch me on the highway". cops pulled him over every other day for 2 months, and gave him dozens of repair orders and seat belt tickets, the look on that cops face when he told her that was priceless though.

As for the plate cover, its illegal in many states, in MD they can give you a repair order but i dont think theres a fine or actual criminal offense associated with it. MD is kinda strict though, we cut a front tags top and bottom off so it fit a 2g front bumper flush, and got hassled about that several times too.
