The other day i was sitting home bored, already installed my o2 sensor in my gauge pillar, and changed my plug wires. I was just staring at my car wondering what i could do with the things i had there.
Then it hit me. Busted into the shop (my room) yanked out my cans of...
then i yanked out my reverse lights and my corner lights
And decided it was time to play around a bit. I sanded em down with some 120 grit sandpaper and cleaned em up with some of
Then i set off to the great outdoors to lay some paint. I held my can about a foot away from the lights, doing the back edges and sides first, then moved onto the front, making sure to just do one nice even coat over all of them. After letting them dry for around ten minutes i went back out and put a layer of the triple thick glaze. I let them dry for around ten to fifteen minutes in between coats, and i put three coats of clear on them all. This was the finished product.
Reverse lights
Parking lights

As you can see, they are still plenty bright and i think they blend in a bit better during the day. Over all it took me about an hr total, including sanding and cleaning. Ive used krylon paint a lot in the past and if your painting anything plastic i highly recommend it. I havnt had a chance to test the reverse lights since i was flying solo on this project i had no one to take the pic, ill repost one if i get one tho. Thanks for lookin.
