smoked altezza's

I was curious if anyone had cracked the housing of there altezza's and painted them. I have a set and id rather have the carbon fiber but $$$ says otherwise. So i was thinking about crackin them open kinda like doin your headlights and paintin over it black. So if anyone has tried this, has pics etc.. please hit me back.. goin to try and do it today.

wow 43 views and notta.. anyways.. im thinkin about crackin open the altezza's and painting over the silver with like the UV tint black spray from krylon... but someone's gotta have some input or have tried this.. dont hold out ;]

I think it would look cool. I lke the look of the altezzas at night just not during the day. :thumbdown
