Well. I think my turbos dead
.
Just some info.
Engine appeared rebuilt when purchased. 120 psi across all cyls. This was with throttle closed, every CYL was 120, engine wasn't even broke in when I got it.
Anyways, after having a month long boost leak and low boost. I replaced my throttle body and fixed everything. But now I think my turbo is dead.
Boosts just fine, but I got a little smoke at idle now all the time kind of a light grey/blue. But when I get to around 5 psi+ and let off, it blows off a big huge cloud of blue smoke... The higher the psi the bigger the cloud.
I assume my seals are shot due to a overspeed from my previous boost leak. Weird thing is, just last week I checked the turbo and it had no shaft play, but oil was in the intake.
What you guys think....
No it don't overheat, and oil can burn white.
