Slight clicking noise (Injector area)

I have started to hear a slight clicking noise coming from the top of the manifold near the injectors. i heard it 2 days ago, but as soon as I turned off the car and turned to back on I didnt hear it any more. Now it is on all the time if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Are you sure it's coming from the injector and not a lifter under the VC?

I'm not sure how to tell the two apart. Some recommend injector cleaner for injector tick, but I've heard others say that injector cleaner is bad for other reasons that I can't recall.

Lifter tick can be addressed a couple different ways. Read up on seafoam threads for this approach which cleans the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and on the valve seats. Another is to use OEM Mitsu oil filters.

This thread talks a bit about a 3rd ticking source, but I don't know if it applies only to a 1g. And you don't have a car listed in your profile, so I don't know what car you have.
