Do I have to use the really thin clear line or can I use some of the same black vaccum lines that my vaccum lines are made up of.

I think if you use red you net more horsepower (per RRE).


I would recommend the black hose for sure. The clear just doesn't hold up as good as the black hose does IMHO. It gets too soft when it gets warm/hot and it's too stiff when it's cold.
I've had no problems with heat and cold using the sorta clear white stuff. Polyethylene tubing I think it is. It's cheap, and doesn't kink too easily. just make sure you have the right inside diameter.
You can't go wrong with one of those kits if you can afford it.Yeah, you're ok with the clear/white and the nylon tubing like 9!'clipseDOHC is talking about. The kind I don't like is super clear cheap ass like aquarium pump tubing. I just thought the op was talking about that kind since everyone was talking about clear line early in the thread.
