When I was in the states we took a rental car and it had satelite radio, Im pretty sure it was XM, It was awsome but it came with this black shit on top of the car. (Probably to recieve signals) Do XM and Sirus both have that little black box on the top of the roof?

When are the radio makers going to realize many of us aren't going to shell out $100+ for the privilege to pay another $120 a year?

And godDAMN AFTRA for destroying internet radio. _That_ was the deal.

I wonder if eventually you "old" guys will ever understand the amazing amount of money that it costs to run modern day technology.

Previous radio required towers to bounce around the signal.

This is SATELLITE radio, an ENORMOUS, and MUCH more expensive difference.

Wow, a whopping $10/month, for HIGH quality music, NO commercials - don't tell me you've ever listened to FM and NOT gotten pissed at endless commercials - and the ability to listen to the SAME stations EVERYWHERE.

Sirius is my fav, it's like college vs. pro basketball, the underdogs (college) typically work 2000x harder.

XM is cheaper in the long run...at least over here it is.

they are pretty much the same thing if you ask me...but my vote is for XM
