How many of you have these? What do you think of them? Better than XM?

sirius is better, im basing it that on what XM people that move to sirius say, in addition with that, they have three satelites, instead of XMs Two. =better recept and quality.

Oh, you can hook me up? Sweet. I like how it looks and I'm interested in it. Up here we don't have any good stations and I'm so sick of listening to commercials.

Is there anyway to hook the power supply up to the car's battery instead of having that fatass cigarette lighter adapter?

I use to sell both where I worked and have spent my time listening to both all day long... and my honest opinion is that XM is much better, as far as quality of the sound and of the stations. But remember, either way you go, the grass always looks greener on the other side.

oh yea, i hear you, i hate radio because of commercials, if im going to work, i dont want to get in my car and hear commercials all the way.

yea, Anything is better than FM, XM has the name For SatRadio, but i would check out what was going on because that doesnt sound right.

in addition sirius has less dropouts, and more coverage, expanding all the way to newfoundland. XM has two stationary satelites, whereas sirius has three that move in patterns to take advantage of different points of transmission.

in addition XM JUST! went commercial free, whereas sirius has ALways been commercial free. That kinda says a little bit about the company.

Dance music, XM, Bad enough for my wife to say it sucks and shes just starting to get into it.

70s, XM had it ALLOT! better, but ever since jan19 Sirius picked up the qual.

NFL ETC. Sirius has contracts with them to broadcast for the next i think it was seven years. XM. does not.

Im not starting a battle or anything. just saying why I got Sirius.


As per install for the Cigarette lighter dealio, i can go to this fleamarket near me and pick up an outlet for a buck. i need to pick up a couple, because it has a postive, and negative lead on it, just wire it up. and your on your way. I wired it off of the Radio right now because i did full custom job, but you can wire it off of the Stock cigarette lighter and put it wherever you want.
