I just put XM radio in my 95 eclipse rs. I was wondering if there is anywhere I can place the antenna where it gets good reception but doesn't look completely ridiculous.
Thanks,
Chris

Dont know if you have a sunroof but, when i got xm i put it begind the sunroof in the middle then i just ran the wire in the sunroof and hid it from there looked really good

No, I don't. Right now it's just kinda sitting on top and looks pretty stupid haha.

I have a Spyder no roof at all try to imagine how stupid it looks LOL I put mine in the trunk, works perfect. I saw a guy put one on his hood...

You put it on the inside of the trunk? Does it still get good reception?

ctcare89: For your problem i would recommend putting it either in the middle or on the driver or passenger coners infront of your windsheild. Then just run the wire under the molding around the windsheild and then through the under side of the weather stripping. This will hide it very well.

Eclipse98Spyder and Merkles: On my spyder that I had I put the antenna in the middle of the dash as close to the windshield as I could get it. Then ran the wire around the outside of the dash to hide the wire looks good also.

I install XM and Sirrius for a living and have done both methods on every car you can possibly think of and never had a customer complain about how it looks.

I used to have mine velcro'd to my hatch/trunk lid. Got good reception there and wasn't exposed to the elements/theifs. Ran the wires up the center console, through armrest, under the carpet, under the back seat, and up from there.

well they have kits to put it on the inside I dont like antennas so it worked out great. It worked great for me I got good reception with my local stations as well
