ive been thinking of getting xm radio, and i have an xm ready head unit, but i dont know what i would need to get it. i presume that since i have an xm ready head unit all i have to do is get a tuner and an antennae but i dont know what to get. also, is it worth getting? thanks.

$50 for that doesnt sound bad to me. i can probably get it cheaper. i was expecting to pay like $150 for it, but this sounds real good to me. thanks for the input.

edit...
$50 for the reciever and $50 for the adapter. dammit!

i have it and don't know how i lived without it for so long!!!....you will not have to have any cd's in your car to get stolen ever again imo......xm is def. better than sirius, i'm thinking that sirius is not going to be around for long, not many subscribers when xm has over 1 million...... :dsm:

um, dood you should research what you said.

NFL signed a 7 year contract with sirius, not XM.

Dish Network signed with Sirius to broadcast to Dish Subscribers,

Music content as well as Quality is better with sirius due to sirius having three sat compared to XMs two.

and of course XM has more members, they were out with it first and everyone that jumps ship from XM to Sirius is much happier. Check it out cause you will find that out.

but yea, i agree no more CDs thanks to sirius.

my sisters ex boyfriend has sirius and i really just don't like it at all compared to the xm that i have, the stations just seem to not be nearly as good music wise....plus i'm not sure if sirius even offers the playboy channel or not....LOL :dsm:

i thought about sirius but i have an xm ready head unit, so it would be silly not to get xm. anyways, it seems that i will just need like $100 in stuff to add to my head unit to make for a nice clean install without any extra junk around. then there is the subscription and activation fee. it all costs money, blah. thanks for all the help though.
