So my first gst I got from a car auction with 67,XXX original miles it was a 5spd and needles to say that was more than 5 yrs ago I went with all the wrong mods una ll the wrong order. It ended up being slower than when I got it. Lol newb mistake. Well I sold it and now that I have another DAily driver an E36 I felt like I could take on another gst and well take it slow. I found the silver gst, not running. The camshaft sensor was bad and the previous owner managed to bend the valves. So here is the list of what I have done so far some parts installed some not yet. I don't plan to make any exterior mods maybe some enkei rpf1. I'm open to any help and advice I could use it. Goal of 255-260hp

Instead of using new oem head bolts, I'd pick up a set of standard ARP head studs. Especially since you are going to be upping the power. You won't be able to push the 16g too far without the head studs. You might get away with it, but why chance it, especially since you are going to be in there already. I'd also look into doing a balance shaft elimination kit instead of renewing the balance shaft belt. I'd rather have the peace of mind of knowing that there is no chance of a balance shaft belt being able to break and get caugh in the timing belt and cause you a ton of trouble. Otherwise you seem to have a pretty good list of what you are going to replace. :hellyeah:

The list is what is purchased already. Thanks i will look into that for sure. I don't plan to push it at all just want it running as a daily driver for work and the Beemer for baby that's due in less then 2 weeks :)

What sort of power levels are you looking to reach with the 16g? Anything over 18ish psi I would start to worry about having issues with the head lifting. The ARP studs are just a better way to keep the head down on the block when your upping the boost. I know there will be people who say they've done this or that on stock head bolts, but I figure why chance it.

If u mean the arp headbolts yeah, now would be a great time to get them. Who make a a good balance shaft delete kit?

Nicely priced too. Getting a MAF translator today, anyone has a full gm MAF w/ couplers?

Sounds like a nice build got any more pics...

250-260 is pretty fun in a gst

Thanks, anyone know how to hook up a MAF translator with the 3" GM MAF and the where the stock 2G oem MAF plug and ECU come into play?

I was carolinadsm a long time ago need to make another account. After I sold my first gst I got a EM1 replica and swapped h22 v-tec and am still a member and fan of carolinahondas LOL

Thanks I will def consider switching out to the bpr6es.
Might get those arp headbolts today and my hallman boost controller arrived finally

Got the maf translator and gm MAF how do I hook those up I know it's TB>MAF>BOV but don't know on the wiring help please.
