2G Side skirt

did you document the work you did to alter this part to slow with the dsm bumper, this looks like it would go well with the Op's amazing car.

I have yet to make the cuts on the end. Otherwise, it is straight forward--I have a build thread where I will document it with further detail once I get back to it.

Love the fender flares but I was never a fan of the 2gb side skirts to begin with so I would have never gone through with the addition of the wrx peice . Very nice work though.

To fully utilize the functionality of the flares, the OEM fenders must be cut--not sure if the OP did so, but I would assume he did to fit the wider wheels and prevent rubbing.

The side skirts look good with the fender flares. It might have looked weird without them; would have looked wider in the middle of the car.

Wow, ajstrinidad - that looks GREAT! And I am not one for adding extras really; but it works really well. Nice job! The STi lip also appears to work pretty darn well. I kinda wish I had the eclipse front end... as the 2gb Talon one curves to much to really allow for splitters. (At least splitters that look decent.)

Love the skirt, like the fenders, but hate the seem, and your rear bumper needs some love. Look odd with the rest of the car.

All in all, hope mine looks at least half as good as yours when I'm done.

Thank you for the comments. Yeah, I did cut the fenders and the quarter panel. The front fender are really easy to cut, but the quarterpanel took a lot more work.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I use to have those flares, but I'm not sure they were 240z flares. I bought the flares from ebay and ended up modifying it. Anyway, in the end, I ended up making my own flares and ended up ditching the ebay ones.

I actually make the extension over the wheels or fender flares. The front flares are very easy to put in, but the rear require more cutting than front. The rear also require welding or gluing the two layer of sheet metal if you really want to do it the correct way.

Can u explain where this area is and what u mean? Looks great btw
