Side skirt lights?

I was wondering if any one has ever put a parking light or signal light in there side skirts?
I was thinking of doing this. What do you think?

I don't understand the point of doing it and I think it would look pretty silly but thats just me.

Check your local laws, more than likely its illegal. Lights too low, bulb protruding from vehicle, oncoming intrusion to others.
