I like the extensions over the wheels. Where did you get those and are they easy to put in? Sideskirts look cool man. Even though i hate wrx's. Had one try to race me on way to work tonight.

I actually make the extension over the wheels or fender flares. The front flares are very easy to put in, but the rear require more cutting than front. The rear also require welding or gluing the two layer of sheet metal if you really want to do it the correct way.

Those are bad ass! Any more explanation on how you did it, or what the original one looked like then what you did?

There is about a 2 inch length difference. So what I did is cut off the difference and glue them back together. Its made out of polyurethane, so I was not really sure the correct way to put them together. After doing some research, I went and used a metal mesh type and loctite contruction glue that you get from home depot. Put the mesh where I want it to be and applied some construction glue. Waited a day until I cut off the excess glue and it was rock solid after that.

Any close ups of mounting and how noticeable the seam is? Is this a stock side skirt for the WRX? Sorry I don't know crap about subies other than they have horrible head gasket issues.

Sometimes bringing out the beauty in the car through simplicity and cleanleness is all eclipse needs. Meaning 18 x 9.5 rims on 20 offset should do the trick.

I love your car minus the rims! I would never put an offset or stretch a tire like that, too many pot holes, road damage, and random gravel on the roads!

Aj !! That's is pimp! Nice work! Beautiful dsm! Should be in a calendar :D
Are you able to take off your front bumper still?

Yeah, I am still able to take off my bumper. I just have to take out my flares first, which is only one screw for the bumper.

Absolutely beautiful.

How is your turning ability with the fender flares? And are the side skirts carbon fiber?
also any plans for the rear bumper to finish off the look you have going? (Front lip, side skirts....just need a rear diffuser of some kind i would think)

I get full turns on my fender. The only catch is, if you turn really fast (like a u-turn or a ramp) and hit a bump, it will sometimes hit. But I think that goes with an lowered cars, that is why we slow down so it doesnt hit anything.

I am actually thinking about my next project, which is to finish off with a diffuser. I am planning on adding a simple/suttle front splitter and that will connect to panels and that will connect to the diffuser. Just like what you see from race cars. I have been doing some reasearch because I want it to have functionality.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

The skirts and flares look amazing on your car

Wow, beautiful! so, what fenders are these from? are they from another car or something? or did you custom made them?

Looks good!

I really like the front splitter but have you considered running a different front lip that might blow with the sides a bit more?

For example--I'm working on getting an STi lip, which my GF had on here TSX, on my 2GB bumper--needs some obvious trimming but has the same fin like ends:

I actually thought about doing that, but I just didn't want to risk it not fitting the bumper. From the picture, it looks like it worked out great! Good job, it probably took awhile and a bit of time to get it to work? I am actually going to make a splitter that will attach to the bottom of the lip that I have. Im still working on the design. Thank you for your suggestion by the way. Keep up the good work.[DOUBLEPOST=1418228822][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thank you. I actually made the flares from fiberglass. My first version was something I hacked from an ebay part. But after seeing the flares not flowing with the lines of the car and no one really makes flares for the eclipse. I decided to make my own from scratch.

Thanks for the words of encouragement--as for the lip fitting; very minimal wrk, honestly. Just self tapping screws and start in the middle--I didn't have to cut anywhere else besides the obvious; the ends which are a little too long. I haven't got around to doing that but in do time, it will be easy.

did you document the work you did to alter this part to slow with the dsm bumper, this looks like it would go well with the Op's amazing car.
