Wow i think this post caused alittle bit to many problems all i wanted 2 do was beat a Stock 02' camaro SS thats an auto and the kid that drives it is a total jerk about his $30,000 car im not sure thats right so dont make a deal about. I went 2 the track with him before i got my gsx and he ran like a 13.5 1/4. Thanx for the help and i hope no one hates me now . I plan on getting a 16g,550cc,s-afc, 255lhp pump, boost gauge, manual boost controller. I think that should get me what i want.

If he paid 30K for his car he got ripper off big time.

You will only need a 190 fuel pump for thaty setup. The 255 will over run the stock FPR. Also, make sure you get a logger to see what all those neat little things are doing to your car.

FYI I have seen pics of 2 door lancers from the Philipines and the Chrysler 300c and possibly the new dodge counterpart 4-door Charger may be offered with an extended touring package which includes all wheel drive. Not only that but put that with the new 435HP SRT/8 Package going into the 300C, Hemi Charger, Hemi Dakota(surely to god) and maybe even the Magnum, and, oh god, were gunna have some mosters roaming the streets. Now as for something comparable to the sti in a 2 or 4 door version check out the idea of the SRT6 Crossfire Spyder. It has alot of Mercedes parts. Possible AWD there as well. Being an ex-wheel lifting dodge owner myself I must say I didnt like the idea of Daimler and Chrysler getting together but alot of good things are popping out and if they want to save mitsubishi they will let Daimler start helping out there. Maybe they can pull a miricle out of there a$$... Wait i went off the subject didnt i. Sorry........ Anyways I agree

My car put down 173hp stock. With exhaust mods and a BC the best I got was like 200 or so. You can joke on his times all you want, but unless you are a hell of a driver and by some miracle catch him napping, you will lose with the T-25. With all those mods you are planning, you may be a match but it won't necessarily make it a done deal in your favor.

All these guys claiming that they have 'smoked' LS-1's 'all day long at the track' and still not even one of them has posted up a timeslip to prove it...

If I had beat a car like that at the track with a 2.0l (turbo or not), I would be proud of it and post up the timeslip so my friends could check it out...

I have beat lots of them and feel no need to post up a slip proving it. I race at the V8 events all the time and consistantly beat them down the track bracket racing and heads up. Honestly most guys who drive them can't drive.

No the camero did not make up any ground despite what the video looks like, he was back 6/10ths at the 1/8th mile and was still back 6/10ths at the end of the 1/4 mile on the time slip, it's only the perspective that makes it look that way. I was the guy who taped that video so I know first hand trust me.

You know this makes me mad ....why are there so many haters...just cause you cant do it doesnt mean others cant.....To me,. why would i post a time slip...its not that big of a deal.....its only a camaro....you make it seem like we are eatin 10 sec cars all day long...Geeez ohhh wow it has a v-8 look out.....give it a rest and learn to drive to win...v-8 aint all that...i have lost to more 4cyls in my class then to any v-8's.....my boss has a 51 merc with 383 and a 671 on top....i beat him by 1 hundreth of a second....woopty doo....only a v-8...if they cany hook or cant drive its all over....

All that this guy wanted to do is shut up the camero kid. And discuss what mods he should get to beat him. All we did is talk about how fast is LS1 (or what ever that is) and talk about how bunch of others cars beat the cammaro. I don't see that helping him bet the camaro :thumbdown (no offence by WTF would u bring up the exotic cars up?)

Basicly the guy wants to know if he can beat the camaro with some mods or not? How simple can that be?

Don't get me wrong but this is how all the fighting starts from people brining up stuff like "I saw that this guy beat him." or "No its impossible to beat him" ECT. lets just stay with the subject.
