6 bolt build wat do i need?

Hey guys i know all the engine parts i need but wat about tools and skills??? like i have a few basic tools but not much. I have a few skills i have never taken on a project this big but i know u guys r great so im not to worried.

what exactly are you planning on doing? You don't need any "unusual" tools to work on a dsm.

Just like the title says! i aint trying to be an ass but there is alot of guides out there on what you need to do! make sure you are ready for this bec its not easy and its alot of work you have ot make sure you have engine lifter jacks and many other tools and more important TIME! and PATIANCE! its going to take you alot of cuts and scuffs! but in the end you will be happy with the out come! make usre you do your research! and dont do anything if you have any 2nd thoughts and its a good idea to remove your balance shaft Mits added it for safety reasons but not needed! and good luck with the engine swap! i had a dsm spec do my 6bolt swap his in frisco and is real good and not easy and i think you have to do something to a motor mount so rem do your research but good luck and if you need help post pics of proband with detail description. but again good luck!

PS UPGRADE CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL WHY you are at it since the tranny and engine will be out already so you dont have to go back and take everytrhing aprty i did and it was great! GL

I just did tranny swap and after that i am ready for motor swap! haha
