just like the title says, should i rewire my walboro 190 pump? i plan on getting 550's and some sort of 16g turbo. i do have a safc, but i dont want to run into any idle problems or anything.thanks alot
. Have you seen the little wire that runs to your fuel pump? I would much rather make sure my pump is getttin all the power it needs so that it isnt pushing itself too hard with too little power. Get bored on a saturday and take the hour to wire it all up, good electrical experience too.
! Re-wire it with minimum 10awg and whatever the relay amperage is use that amperage of an inline fuse. Seeing how the electrons travel on the outside of the wire strands, thichker awg would allow more current to be fed to the pump when the alternator isnt charging at full capacity. You said you've been installing car stereos too? Thats all the more reason for you to be motivated. You know how electricity and current works
