Own fuel pump or 190 walboro?

I have a 97 talon tsi completely stock but its been sitting for 5 years the first thing I'm gonna do is all maintaince. Now with the fuel pump sucking in bad gas its not gonna be in the best shape should I do an oem or 190 and rewire? I am planning on HP levels around 300 to 350
 
Eli it would be useless on his set up. he only wants 300-350. who go so big and then not use it? Evo 9 fuel pump us great and a cheaper route. I'm running mine just fine in 1000's with no fpr.

The 255 is same price as the 190 and finding a used evo 9 pump prices vary by seller.The pump would be fine is all I am saying but really can argue all day about it but it is really up to the persons personal opinion what one they are going to get.Please refrain from names or info of people they may not want to be reconized with personal information.

How do you think it would do on stock injectors?

Fuel injectors only allow fuel to get to the injectors fast enough so if need alot of fuel for high boost then it will get it there, so nothing to worry about injector size.Save up for wideband, logger and tuning software then everything can get dialed in.:thumb:

Yes and no.If this your first time probably but you will get used to it.I live in a apartment so I don't get the luxory of doing it plus lucky you it will save you $500 to get it done.Just make sure change balance shaft pulley, belt ,water pump, timing belt and all the tensioners.Balance shaft delete is always good that way next time you will have 1 less problem to ever have to worry about that belt or the trouble if it snaps.:thumb:

What, doing the timing belt? It is a very simple task. Line up marks, install belt, make sure everything is in line and set the tension. Getting to the belt is easy. IT takes 10 minutes to an hour depending on fast you are to get the timing covers off.

This is true as long as everything else is not worn.

What makes it not true if things are worn? It still takes the same amount of time to get to the belt regardless of how worn the belt, tensioner and pulleys are. I didn't mean that it takes 10 minutes to an hour total to do the timing job. I meant that it takes ten minutes to an hour to get the belts, crank pullet, wp pulleys, mount, ac tensioner and timing cover off to get to the belt.
 
I guess I just suck haha ill try it tomorrow when I take the belt off the cam gears aren't gonna move are they? I feel like that's what there gonna do haha otherwise what's the point of marking things if they stay in the same place?
