Short throw shifter for 1G's, positives and negitives

Does anyone have their two cents on short throw shifters for 1G's? I am new to these and don't want to do something I might regret later. Chime in with your comments. I don't have any specific ones in mind but I might get some good advice from this. Thanks.

I've had the Megan Racing short shifter for over 2 years without any problem. Its just has some wiggle when its in gear which from what I've seen I think most short shifters do for some reason.

I don't think a short throw shifter is really necessary on a 1g, but that's just my opinion.

I find short shifters to be an expensive couple words to put in a for sale ad. With solid bushings and a nice properly function transmission you should never need one. I spent weeks trying to find a stock one for my 1g since the PO threw the original out. so much better usability.

I like my stock shifter with the solid shifter inserts.

Well just so everyone knows, the JNZ kit is no longer available for 1990 models which is what I was needing it for but theoriginal bushings are still so thumbs up for that.
