1G Short block build

Soooo.... My engine is buring hell of oil. my rear bumber is got oil all over it. Im building a short block. What kind of internals are ppl recomending?? I was gonna get dsm link with the 2g pistons and large 1g rods. for a start. Prob gonna go 20 over. im going for like 300 to 350 hp. Its fwd. currently running small 16g. thinkin of going to a evo 16g or maybe a step larger. what ya guys think? thanks....

1g big rods and 2g pistons will be plenty for your hp goal. The small 16g will get you there as well, assuming you have other mods to support it.

NPR sells 2g pistons that are .020 over, and they are pretty cheap too.

yeh i was looking into the big 1g rods and 2g pistons and getting dsm link. currently have 550cc with 3g mas. but prob making a small jump to 660cc's. currently have big 16g. but wanted to aim to 21psi and maybe a larger turbo. any other suggestions. maybe cams?

ebay sells NPR 2g pistons for like $75 and havent heard anything bad about em.
how big do you want to go turbo wise? an evo 3 16g or bigger?
your probably (most likely) will have to upgrade your pump

Save your money and do a stock rebuild.
