I've got a 1992 Plymouth laser rs awd. I picked it up and the slave cylinder was frozen. I replaced that, and now there's too much play in the pedal. My shifter cable for foreword and back is also frozen

There has been a ton of threads just created this week regarding clutch issues. I would start by going to you tube and watching jacks transmission video. If you are sure you bled all the air out, look under the dash, just above the gas pedal, you will see the clutch master cylinder rod. If it is leaking, buy a new one from one of the vendors here.
You say the slave was frozen? As in, won't push in or out? Was it all rusty when you took the boot off? Also, when you bled it, did you replace all the fluid? I know they take a good bit to get all the air out, and if the car sat for a while, the fluid probably sucked up a bunch of moisture.
Shifter cable, take them out and GENTLY flex them and see if that frees it up. Might need new ones. They are pretty old.

I just bled it again and no air came out. The clutch pedal comes half way bak up whenever I push it in. The odd thing is, I have to start it in first. After that, I've got all gears. Any ideas?
