Does the stock shift knob just screw off? I hope it's that easy.

Yes the stock one just screw right off, never get the set screw ones that require allen wrenches to tighten. I have a sparco one on, the first time I put it on, it was fine but after that the knob wouldn't stay still and right now I just have the knob sitting on the shifter.

AHHHHHHH Get some damn zip ties, lift up the console, and put some zip ties right onto the shifter shaft (underneath the boot) where you want the boot, slip back the console on, put the boot back on and VOILA.... :D

I like it that way becasue when I go for third I can just put my hand underneath the ball. i tried the other way and wasnt very happy.

Well i cant tell if they have them in stock. They havent told me that they have shipped it yet or anything, i sent them an email asking them to let me know the status of my order. I will let you know if they have them in stock or not.

let me know where you guys have gotton yours im going to order one. I want to order from a decent site, thanks guys. :talon:

yup machv has the ball greddy counter weights on backorder too, they told me they would ship within this week.

i got one from local shop. They just got them in the day i called. 37 and change :thumb:

This is kinda funny but in machine shop class i was bored so i tried to make a shift knob. It was supposed to be a ball but i didnt have the time so it is kinda cylindrical and rounded at the top (a.k.a. dildo style). It may not look all that good but it is heavy as hell and it gets the job done. :thumb:

Just to add to this... The greddy Knob does get really hot when in the sun...like untouchably hot. Also in the winter my hand has stuck to it a few times it was so cold.
