I had my first love stolen a year ago, before the :talon: it was a 1991 Camaro Z28 I had put over 10k in it getting it prestine again when some jack@$$ stole it it wasn't een running the fuel pump was out of it. I have yet to hear anything from it and the insurance company only gave me 3.5k for it. yea I had the money to get me a used Yugo. LOL
 
Did you report your DSMLink stolen to Tom or Dave over at ECM? Never know where it might show up. My friends car got jacked, about 6 months later someone tried to get support for them AEM unit he had in it and they contacted him and the police got involved. Within a couple months, the cops figured out who had stolen the car and they got arrested.

Never know, tom and dave can keep and eye out.
 
Ouch that must hurt alot. I haven't seen it in the university area but, ill keep an eye out. Good luck getting her back.
 
Well, they found it. Whats left of it. In a matter of 2 days they completely stripped and destroyed my car.

Engine/ecu/exhaust/tranny+case/ interior/dash/wheels/front bumper+headlights:

GONE

I took these pics with my phone, sorry about the quality. I took a bunch of pics with my digi, i will try and get them on here soon.

Thanks for all of your support and help guys, I appreciate it. Call off the hunt. She will be put to rest, I dont want to try and rebuild it. We had some great times, but its time to move on.

but im trying to talk him into getting the shell back, n letting me build a drag car...it sucks for you man, but its like they did half the work for me. I have a 6bolt long block in my garage, its already gutted, just get a sheet metal dash with a few guages, a roll cage, and a driver seat...can you say light ass awd...let me know what the ins. company says. I got first dibs effers

Man thats bad, I would be so mad :mad: The first person I saw laughing would get hit. Thats why I refuse to get anything that would draw attention to my car(rims, fmic, gauge pods)
 
Insurance company was supposed to pick it up from the tow company today and take it to their lot and take a look at the damage. Then they will let me know, I am in the process of rounding up receipts for the aftermarket stuff. I will let you guys know :thumb:

Keep an eye out on ebay and other parts trader sites for that sort of stuff from AZ

I honestly would have rather never seen my car again then get it back gutted like that. Just for my own sake. I wouldn't want to see something i'd poured my energy, money, time, and talent in just to see the shell of what it was. Mother Fvckers better get paid back by karma in triplicate.

The worst part is that some of us are probably going to buy some of those parts on the aftermarket and not even know they were stolen.
 
Hey, I just wanna say this whole situation sucks. But on a different note I'd like to compliment you on how you took care of your car before it was stolen. Just by looking at those pictures amazed me at how clean EVERYTHING was. I mean, your engine bay looked cleaner than a new eclipse! Obviously you know how to take care of your cars. I can only imagine what your next car will be but I'll bet it's gonna be in damn good shape. :thumb: :thumb:

werd. look on craigslist and arizona trading sites, especially honduh sites, theres alot of underground stolen parts trading that honduh ###s do, and your whole setup could make for a awesome mad tyte hatch.

and more than likely, alerting dsmlink guys wont do anything, since the jackers more than likely wont know whats inside the ecu, unless they knew the car before hand.

god that still sucks though, id cry my ass off seeing the empty carcass of a once glistening car.

btw, maybe theres some prints you can get off the car, the thieves couldnt have been smart enough to wear gloves during dissassembly, you know there has to be a dirty greasy perfect print somewhere. my ass would be on the phone with the police telling them to get forensics there, no matter the cost, just so that this doesnt happen to someone else in the future.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot. This is all I have left. Im gonna keep it for memories. Looks like the goons tried to pull it off, as opposed to taking the screws out.

On to bigger and badder. Got a 1g GSX lined up, always wanted a 1G, pretty mean setup already. Or my buddies mint 88 Starion, rebuilt motor, turbo, polished everything, very nice. There has also been talk about how easy it would be to drop a 2jz in one. We'll have to wait and see :thumb:
