I thought after i read all these posts that i would have something profound to say, turns out I am speechless, I would be sooooooo pissed off. I have had 3 cars stolen from me over the course of years, But if my little black beast were to get raped, i would just lose it.

And to defiant....I too had a similiar situation of a insensitive a-hole taking car of my stolen car recovery, almost went to jail also.
 
:( this is so sad. My car had aspirations to look just like yours... I loved how your car looked.

There have been a half a dozen Integras stolen from around here by professionals in the last few weeks here... what can one do? Put a tracking system on the car? A bigger alarm system? Different types of locks? If someone on the street asks to see your set up, are you telling them no? What are you guys doing proactively to save your cars?

I just bought a steering wheel for my car, so quick release is a good idea. The HKS hub I used actually allows for the use of cruise control still, its got buttons on it.

I also have my car wired up with a kill switch, that is really hard to find, and almost unoticeable, whenever I take it to a shop or something, I usually get a phone call within an hour or 2, telling me that they couldn't start on my car because they couldn't get it started.

I'm also thinking about getting a toggle switch so that you have to use that in order to turn on your fuel pump. They can't take your car without gas or a tow truck.

Just the little things help. I bought my magic touch kill switch off ebay for 5bucks. Its awesome.
 
It's obvious by looking at all they stripped that they know what they were doing, and weren't new to the DSM world.

Sorry to hear and see that man. Where did they end up finding the shell at?

I'd say so. I owned a parts car and three of us could not have stripped it that completely in just two days and then move the shell on top of that. No way. Whomever did this knew what they #### they were doing. I actually hope they were at that BBQ. Not that I want to find out there is a DSMer in Phoenix who would knife his brother in the back like that, but it will come back on them. With a shopping list like that, those parts are going on a DSM, the Trader, or eBay. I'll start shopping eBay for the big stuff, locally. All your parts are still in town, I'd bet. If someone shows up out of the blue with your mods, they're dead. If anyone tracks down the thieves in Arizona, you can bet your ass there will be a large scale caravan of DSMs heading over to have a little "talk" with said individuals. Damn. Thieves piss me the #### off.

Yes. Where was it recovered? Southside, I would imagine. That's always where they seem to find them. (And yet, police profiling is such a "horrible" idea.) :rolleyes:
 
Hey Chris this is Armando. First let me tell you I and feel very sorry about your baby. I called just about called EVERYONE I know in the AZ area and let them know about what happend and your car. Let me know what the insurance desides to do with the car. I can use the doors for my car and I can use the rear-end of the axles for my GSX project. All in all, if you buy it back, ill throw you some cash for the parts to help you with your next purchace. Also you will know your car isnt totally dead. Your car will be with me and you can say, "my car is helping a friend in his built 2.4L GSX tear up the track" LOL Give me a call bud, 602-326-4074. Also, we are on a close watch for ANYONE selling any eclipse parts. As already last weekend we were already apporoached by some goons asking Brandon out of all people "need some parts?" But did not think anything of it as you car was not stolen yet. Well be out this weekend prowling the streets for more information. Well find out something! Remember CALL ME!
 
Wow, that is more stipped out than a race car, I feel for ya man, ####ign thieves should go back to stealing swapped hondas! Did insurance pay up?
 
Damn man that sucks. I have no idea what I would do if that happened to me. My guess is that all those parts went to another car all together. I highly doubt the stuff will be sold separately. I say that because this happened at the dealership my hubby works for. Most of the time when they steal the dash. They are looking for low or lower miles. Just an idea. Id check out the local rock lots. Good luck with whatever you decide to do when this is all done and over with.

If everyone tells everyone they know, the thieves will pretty much have to use that shit for furniture or buy a DSM if they don't already have one if they want to get rid of your shit. Let it be the anchor that drags their worthless asses to the bottom of the river.

youd be suprised how many people could give a rats ass about a "brotherhood" when all they care about is their next mod living in their mad tyte vtec world. ive met quite a few shady car guys in my time, the one that sticks out, is one guy had a s2k and another a integra, the teg owned the s2k in a race, but the s2k guy knew the other guy, went to his house, stole the teg, and dismantled it. the teg guy figured it out, went to the s2k guys house, confronted the s2k guy and got stabbed, and was found dead and burned to a crisp after his teg was found torched in a field. sad part was, the cops couldnt find any evidence, even though little s2k guy blabbered on about it, and since they were both a minority, the case was never further investigated.

I guess from now on we should all tell people that our cars arent modded and are running bad, also that we have hidden alarm systems or some sort of tracking device on the car. Maybe your next car should be a complete sleeper?

Insurance hasnt called me back yet. They needed to get the car to their salvage yard and acess the damage. My Tokico's are still on the car as you can see, i hope they will give me those. They should be contacting me next week with a figure, I need to email pictures to my insurance agent.

Here are some things to look for:

HKS turbo timer
Apexi SAFC2 w/ small scratches on all edges
Straight Line Specialties BLACK SAFC2 vent bezel
Gray 2-gauge A-pillar (Autometer Lunar series AF gauge, cheap boost gauge)
17" ALT Racing X-factor wheels (carbon black) on Nitto NeoGen's 225/45/17
Red Megan Racing strut tower bars (front & rear)
White 2gb front bumper w/ license plate holes filled and blacked out side markers
2g headlights (passengers clear coat was starting to flake, drivers was a TYC headlight)
Gray leather seats
Factory Infinity audio setup (amp, 10 disc changer)
CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN 7 bolt w/ brand new drive belts
MSD 8.5mm wires, Evo3 O2 housing,
black INJEN intake,
HKS SSQV Bov,
RCE 550cc injectors

1 piece full mandrel bent exhaust (from O2 housing to exhaust tip is 1 solid piece)
(2½" downpipe, 3" downpipe-back, resonator, Magnaflow muffler w/ 3" single tip)

The things in red & blue will stick out the most and were rarely seen on any local 2g.
Ones in red are the most identifiable parts.

I will keep an eye out for ya bro. I do have a small suggestion to prevent this happening again. I would get myself a quick release hub, its mainly for momo or 6 screw steering wheel. When your not with your car take the steering wheel with you and have it in your backpack. I know its not totally theft proof but they can't take your car off your driveway.
 
im not in az but i do think you guys should be a little more hush hush about how to catch them...if they were at the meet then chances are the come on this or another fourm...so the chances that they could be reading everything is high. try im'ing. sorry about the loss
my gut dropped when i saw those pics. i live in the ghetto and my gsx sits outside everynight. while crackheads walk around everywhere.
