OK SO

Was out cursing one night and SHIT the tranny went I lost all drive power and when I push in the clutch I just get a grinding noise but I only get a noise when the clutch is depressed.

I was not doing a pull or betting on it at the time of it breaking

I was planning on pulling it real soon anyways because the throw-out bearing went to shit

I haven't got around to pulling it yet but any ideas what I might be before I get there.

I would think a shep stage 3 should hold 450hp easy I am planning on going to 600hp soon I would even think that should be fine for a shep stage 3

tranny has 2500 miles on it but it is like 8 years old it has been in storage I replaced oil before reinstalling.

thanks

I think you typed a little haphazardly there, because I don't understand it at all besides losing power.

Either your TOB completely took a dump (not sure why its not screeching if it did) or you pissed away your pressure plate fingers.

If the car goes in gear with the car off, its not the tranny. My money is that you already have a good idea of what happened since you already know your TOB is garbage.

There wasn't really any noise when it went just lost power and yes it goes into gear yet my guess the TOB jacket up stuff so hoping that is it and the tranny is still good bit who knows I will know for sure this month yet hopefully

Like said above, if it goes into gear with the car off most likely the transmission is fine. Is your clutch adjusted properly? If there is too much throw in the pedal you overextend the fork and kill PP fingers and TOB's and could potentially damage springs on the clutch disk as well.
