shep stage 2?

Hey guys I just went onto sheps website and it looks like there dumping the 1g-2g dsm for the GTR. I was wondering what a stage 2 shep trans consis of? Why Im asking is because I bought a stage 2 shep about 3 years ago used and I dont know what the trans is good for now that im going for a 400-500 goal. Any one have any input?, I do remember a little bit of a whine coming from it when I drove it about year and half ago, is that normal?

Call the shop. They do still offer dsm rebuilds. Unless I am thinking of someone else.

I saw a YouTube video and he says people would send it in then not pay for extra damage so he said he would still do it but I'm guessing you have to call and don't be a like, why did you dump DSM for gt-r. Its rude and he probably will not do your transmission.

IIRC a stage 2 is basically a stock rebuild with all new parts, double synchro 2nd gear. Meaning stage 1 and 2 are rated for the same power but stage 2 has more new parts in it. Stage 3 you get hd 3/4 so its a stronger build. stage 2 probably has a 4 spider as well but not sure.

I have the stage 3. I'll just say it kicks ass. I didn't have enough extra cash to get double synchro 3-4 but i got evo3 1st gear and a 4 spyder (normally welded center)
