competition stage 2

So, my clutch died at the track yeaterday, and my friend has a brand new Competition Stage 2 clutch for 250.00. Anyone think itll hold up to an fp red around 27 psi? I wont be launching the car anymore. I dont want to go back to an act 2600 because of all the parts it destroys and Im afraid of going back to the clutch I have now.

What gave up? Disk, pressure plate, or flywheel? Have you pulled it out yet?

Not yet. It engages far higher than it should and slips if i get into boost so im fairly certain its the disk. Still have freeplay at the top of the pedal too.

Sounds like the disk to me as well. I had a southbend do the same. I went automatic. Clutches are going to be the biggest wear item from here on out. Especially if it's seeing dual duty on the street and track.
I really liked my xtd 6 puck. That thing was grippy, and would hold
