I ordered a NXS manual boost controller, and would like to know about where I should turn the dial to achieve about 15psi with a 16g. I dont know how sensitive the NXS MBCs are, so I dont know if i should I turn it 1/4 of a turn or 4 complete turns.

With the knob turned out all the way (stock boost) turn it once (or less.. maybe 1/4 to be safe?) and see what happens.
On some Boost controllers its trial and error.

start off with it all the way closed. then do dyno style runs in 3rd gear. adjust as needed. you may only get 10psi in first 12psi in second and then 15 in 3rd. pay close atention to your boost gauge. if you don't have one (DO NOT) hook up a boost controller.:talon:

^^ DO NOT USE THIS METHOD!!!!! ^^

If it is closed all the way, you will quickly hit 30+ psi. (My car will hit 15psi in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and it's the stock t25.)

It comes adjusted from the seller so that you don't hit a high boost. The MBC comes with directions, so just follow them.

But if you don't want to read that little paper they send, then...
Hook it up and go for a drive. Then, all you need to do is to hit full boost while carefully watching your (aftermarket) boost gauge.
Pull over and adjust. Then drive and hit full boost again. Adjust and repeat. You can do it in whatever gear you want, because you're setting it to open at a psi. As long as you can reach that boost level in that gear, you're golden.

Slowly work your way up to your desired 15psi. It's better to make many small adjustments than to overboost and blow a headgasket. It took me about 15 min to dial it in just right. :rocks:

(closed meaning open). so you only get waste gate spring.this way is fine. your knock sensor will hit before you blow a head gasket.
