ok i checked my pads, not the culpret, what would an axle going bad sound like/ feel like, its a metal on metal sound, shit is driving me crazy, it sounds like something really bad is happening to my car. any ideas?

Rust builds up along the edges of the rotor where the pad face does not contact.

The rust eventually comes in contact with another metal surface and starts the squeal.

Sucks. Take the rotor off and wire wheel the rotor...try wire wheeling behind the hub also, rust build up can cause noise there to.

Get in there and look, You'll see everything will be a rust bath.

yeah none of that stuff was at fault. now i have a vibration, what wound cause this, its coming from the rear left, i have never had a car without a solid axle in the rear, what would a bad axle sound like, could i hear it clicking when i turn like you would be able to with the front shafts?
