Noise from back left wheel around corners...

Well every time I go around a right hand turn, there is a noise coming from my back left wheel. It sounds like a clapping noise, if that makes any sense. I suspect wheel bearings... I dont really have a clue. Any ideas?

Your best bet is to jack up the car and actually pull that wheel off to inspect. It could be the bearings, but it could also be a number of different items. When you're under there, look for anything obvious, especially your rear left axle. Before you actually take the wheel off, when it's jacked up, check for left-to-right and forward-back play.
