When I first start my car after it has been sitting it makes a screaming noise coming for the bottom of the engine/ tranny area, but once I put the clutch in it stops and does not return unless it sits over night or for a long period of time. Though the sound does seem to be getting a little worse? Could it be my release bearing?

Check your tranny fluid. It will squeal like a SOB if its low or out of fluid. A tranny will not use the fluid so if its low, then u have a leak somewhere which wont be good. Hopefully thats not your problem :talon:

This could be an accessory belt problem. Mine screamed a lot, then it broke. Not really a big deal, just an annoyance. Also, mine is a recurring problem due to the pulley locking up, you might want to look into that.
