Everytime I shift I hear this wierd clunking sound from under the car and again when it goes back into gear. It almost sounds like something is loose but I can't find anything. I thought maybe my exhaust was hitting the driveshaft but I can't see anywhere that looks like it hitting. Any ideas?

Well since it only occurs when you take it out of gear and put it back in, Im inclinded to assume its something internal in the tranny possible...but thats the worst possibility, or some kind of linkage could be loose, and cluncks when you shift...Im just throwing possibilities out there, you know food for thought so dont go postal on me people.

Not going to go postal on you LOL! The noise seems to be coming either from under me or behind me. I dropped the T-case for inspection and everythig seems in order and like I said I didn't see any signs of the exhaust hitting the driveshaft. I guess the rear end is next up for inspection. It almost feels like something is spinning and then catching once it's back in gear? It won't do it all the time just when I push the clutch in to fast.
