Wierd noise from tranny.. Help

Car is making a wierd rattle type of noise, which seems to be coming from the tranny area.
When I step on the clutch the noise goes away, when I let off, the noise comes back..

Any help would be great

About an 85% chance its your throw out bearing.

I would either deal with it til it gets worse or replace it. This would be considered a clutch replacement for price reference at your mechanic.
