I don't know, i'm just affraid of when it rains and there are a bunch of puddles of sucking up water and ####ing up my car. What do you guys think..does it happen a lot and what's the worst that can happen?

Unless you're completely submerging the filter, you will be fine. Hydrolocking with a CAI, is almost as overblown as every 7 bolt motor crankwalks. It's just not the epidemic it's made out to be.

When I had my integra I put a CAI in it... I was driving in the freeway and it was raining. I suddenly drove through a big ass puddle and the car shut off... I turned it back on and I saw a bunch of white smoke coming from my car, then it stopped smoking and everything was fine afterwards.

throw it on...had one on my last 2 N/Ts and never had a problem...you will be over cautious for the first few weeks but after awhile you wont even think about it and you will just naturally avoid deep puddles...mine sits pretty low...maybe 5 6 inches off the ground..getting it wet isnt a problem at all...its submerging it and it sucking in water that is....Ive gone thru things i have thought i shouldnt and its still been fine...like i said after a couple of weeks you wont even think about it anymore
